We raised money in 2010 for JoAnn's first Bone Marrow Transplant. We are so grateful for all of the support we received. The funds raised were extremely helpful in providing the care JoAnn needed. We never planned for or imaged that he first transplant would fail and she would need a second transplant. Our projected expenses are impacted by doing the transplant in Seattle rather than in Phialdelphia. However, the transplant failed in Pennsylvania and we did a lot of interviewing and research to find the best institution in the U.S. with the best survival rate of all U.S. hospitals.
